Hi, I’m Talha — the creator of YesNoWheel.org.
What I do
I design and build small, free web tools that make everyday life a little lighter. YesNoWheel.org is my main project: the Yes or No Wheel plus its companion tools — Coin Flip, Dice Roller, and Random Number Picker. I write the code, design the interface, and personally test every spin, flip, and roll before it reaches you.
Why decision tools
I’m fascinated by how much energy tiny decisions consume. I kept watching people — myself included — burn ten minutes choosing dinner or picking a movie, then feeling oddly drained afterward. A fair random picker doesn’t make the choice for you so much as it frees you from the loop: one spin, one answer, move on with your evening. Building that well — honestly random, genuinely private, actually delightful to use — turned out to be a craft worth caring about.
How I work
- Privacy first. Every tool runs fully in your browser. No accounts, no tracking, no data leaving your tab — that’s a design rule here, not a policy footnote.
- Honest randomness. I use the browser’s cryptographic random generator and read results from where the wheel actually stops. If I claim 50/50, it’s 50/50.
- Tested by hand. Every feature on this site has been spun, flipped, and rolled by me across phone and desktop before publishing.
- Plain language. I explain how things work the way I’d explain them to a friend — including the limits, like keeping random picks to low-stakes choices.
Beyond the wheel
When I’m not tuning spin physics or picking color palettes, I’m thinking about what other small frictions deserve a tiny, free, well-made tool. YesNoWheel.org will keep growing in that direction — one honest tool at a time.
